A log seat beside the river provides space for the resting eye to wander. Above, a contrail slowly widens, while its twin parts the waters below. Beyond my sight they meet, becoming one past a far shore. Yet, equally they meet inside me now, spilling over this, nearer, shore like blood entering the heart of all things.
