Always we are moments away from drowning – our conceptions like frantic paddling. I stopped dreaming a long time ago and strove to see only what was there. I found one part of me busy and another still.

Like the hunter who walks silently, I knew the answer was in stillness, while not in inaction. As peace is not in the cellar, but in the eye of the storm.
