I am becalmed again. Each time I take up the oar and put my back into being, the very boat gives way spilling me into space. I can’t go anywhere, can’t be anyone, without tearing the flimsy mask of self. How many times must I die before empty eyes, before time itself gives way, releasing itself from itself?
I am becalmed again
