Imagine you are a patient and the doctor, too. “I’m afraid you’ve not long to live,” you tell the poor fellow. He breaks down crying. You feel sorry for him.

There you go again, crying and pretending to be above it all. Delivering news to others when there’s no one else in the room. Physician, heal thyself.
