“The Name”
There is a face
whose name
you can’t quite remember.
A name you almost hear
in the slow, majestic dance
of leaves on distant trees;
you almost see
in a rusted sheet of metal,
hanging onto a barn
by a forgotten dream;
and you almost feel
in the hands
that built this barn amongst the trees
long ago.
That face
whose name
you can’t quite remember
hidden inside.
