Why do you keep calling? Let me sleep. Let me dream. It is so warm in the gentle hum of life. Why must you lay me open for viewing, exposing my hollows to the coldest wind? A crack becomes a gaping hole and warmth a fleeting memory. I have called my self into the open, where cold and warmth go nameless. What is open holds nothing.
Why do you keep calling?
